The SAP Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, long term ERP roadmap and support of the Enterprise ERP. The Architect will work with the business to provide ERP solutions to solve business objectives. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, be capable of managing multiple projects as well work with the IT staff and business.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field, or Associate's degree with equivalent work experience, or equivalent work experience.
At least 10 years of SAP experience in mid-sized or larger companies required.
At least 2 years of experience in project management.
Experience in a global setting
Certifications in project management, or in SAP is a plus.
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Must have strong interpersonal and team building skills.
Must be willing to work unusual hours when required.
Experience with presenting technical material to nontechnical audiences is a plus.
Experience supporting a strong IT security environment is a plus.
Must be able to deal with project conflicts and conflicting priorities.
Experience with solution proposals and estimate the financial impact of alternative solution architectures.
Experience with industry trends in smart manufacturing and industrial IoT is a plus.
Key Duties:
Manage the SAP global enterprise system.
Oversee new SAP implementations and roll outs.
Work with the business and Business Analysts to enhance and configure SAP throughout the global enterprise.
Manage vendor relationships around the SAP system.
Oversee SAP patching, upgrades, and maintenance plans.
Assist in evaluating and installing new applications, tools, and cloud-based services that connect to the SAP system.
Maintain network disaster recovery plans of the SAP Environment.
Establish and maintain a secure SAP Environment.
Make Recommendations for procedure and technology changes.
Manage all projects from hosting ERP partner.
Manage the operational and capital budgets for the ERP system.
Prepare weekly status reporting on health and issues affecting the ERP system.
Responsible for maintaining a level of service that exceeds customer's expectations by managing the ticketing system and addressing all issues in a timely manner.
Ensure all IT policies and processes are followed.
Perform all other job duties as necessary, or required, although they are not specifically listed herein.
Travel including international is required for this role. We have operations in South Africa, China, Russia, India, and the Netherlands. Approximately 25% travel expected.
